Shakhrin Salomova
As a skilled textile and fashion designer, my aim is to craft art that not only captivates aesthetically but also conveys a compelling message. Fueled by a deep passion for social justice and a love for diverse cultures worldwide, I break away from traditional norms to inspire positive change.
Hailing from Uzbekistan, my diverse upbringing has ingrained a profound respect for life's values, and I vehemently oppose any hate or oppression jeopardizing love and peace in our society. My designs challenge norms, initiating conversations about freedom, independence, and the significance of cultural diversity. Infused with a rebellious spirit, my garments and art pieces protest for a new reality that upholds social justice and equality.
Currently pursuing my MFA in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, I previously earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile and Fashion Design at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Dedicated to making a difference through my work, I eagerly push the boundaries of conventional fashion and design. Drawing inspiration from global travels, my commitment lies in promoting love and peace on a global scale.
