Cycle of Origins
In this project I am exploring the cyclical nature of universal elements, ranging from the life cycle of humans to the cycles of stars and civilizations. This investigation delves into the intriguing concept of rebirth, where complexity evolves from simplicity, only to return to its primitive origins. Notably, I've discovered compelling hidden signs of this rebirth and cyclical pattern within Uzbek traditions and culture.
CYCLE OF ORIGINS
Cycle of Origins is a speculative worldbuilding project exploring the evolution of consciousness, civilization, and identity across an imagined future.
Set in the year 6788, the world unfolds through four stages: Dust, Ascent, Zenith, and Ash. Each represents a different state of existence within a repeating cycle of creation, transformation, collapse, and return.
Through fashion, environments, characters, and visual storytelling, the project asks what humanity might become when the boundaries between the biological, technological, and unknown begin to disappear.
DUST
The beginning.
A world reduced to its most elemental state. Memory survives in fragments, while identity, culture, and form begin to emerge again from what remains.
ASCENT
The transformation.
Civilization expands beyond its inherited limits. Bodies, environments, and systems evolve together as humanity moves toward increasingly complex forms of existence.
ZENITH
The peak.
Civilization reaches a state of extraordinary refinement. The distinction between organism, technology, environment, and consciousness becomes increasingly difficult to define.
ASH
The return.
Complexity begins to collapse. Structures disappear, identities dissolve, and what once appeared permanent returns to its simplest state.
Ash is not an ending. It is the condition from which another origin becomes possible.
VISUAL RESEARCH & WORLDBUILDING
The visual language of Cycle of Origins was developed through speculative research, material studies, fashion, architecture, environmental imagery, and experiments with biological and technological forms.
Rather than illustrating a single predetermined future, these studies establish the visual rules, atmosphere, and evolutionary logic of the world.
